COMPOSITION Tium Tablet: Each tablet contains Tiemonium Methylsulphate INN 50 mg. INDICATIONS Tium (Tiemonium Methylsulphate) is an antispasmodic drug, reduces muscle spasms of – · Intestine · Biliary system · Uterus · Urinary bladder · Gynaecological – spasmodic dysmenorrhoea DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION Recommended oral dose of Tium (Tiemonium Methylsulphate) tablet is 2-6 tablets (100-300 mg) daily in divided doses as required. CONTRAINDICATIONS Tium (Tiemonium Methylsulphate) should not be used in Glucoma or where acute pain of eyeball with vision disturbance was found. Also this drug should not be used in patients with the disorder of prostate or urinary bladder. PRECAUTIONS Safety & effectiveness of Tium (Tiemonium Methylsulphate) in paediatric patients have not been established. Efficacy & Safety is maintained with increasing age. SIDE EFFECTS Side effects with the use of Tium (Tiemonium Methylsulphate) are rare. DRUG INTERACTIONS Tium (Tiemonium Methylsulphate) should not be used with other drugs without prior consult of a registered physician to avoid possible drug interaction. USE IN PREGNANCY AND LACTATION Tium (Tiemonium Methylsulphate) may be used in pregnancy & lactating mother only if it is clearly needed by the assessment of risk benefit ratio. STORAGE PRECAUTIONS Store in a cool and dry place, protect from light and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children. COMMERCIAL PACK Tium Tablet: 3 x 10 tablets in blister pack.
