Description:
Tiemonium Methylsulphate is a quaternary ammonium antimuscarinic agent with peripheral effect similar to those of atropine. Tiemonium Methylsulphate strengthens calcium bonding with phospholipids and proteins thus stabilizing the cell membrane of the GI tract.

Composition:
Tiemi Tablet: Each film coated tablet contains Tiemonium Methylsulphate INN 50 mg.

Indication/Use:
Pain in gastrointestinal, biliary, urinary and gynaecological disease such as gastroenteritis, diarrhea, dysentery, biliary colic, enterocolitis, cholecystytis, colonopathyes, mild cystitis and dysmenorrhoea.

Dosage Guideline:
Tiemo Tablet: Recommended oral dose of Tiemonium Methylsulphate tablet is 2-6 tablets (100-300 mg) daily in divided dose.

Side Effects:
Side effect with the use of Tiemonium Methylsulphate is very rare.

Contraindication:
Tiemonium Methylsulphate should not be used in Glucoma or where acute pain of eyeball with vision disturbance was found. This drug should also not be used in patients with the disorder of prostate or urinary bladder.

Drug Interaction:
Tiemonium Methylsulphate should not be used with other drugs without prior consult of a registered physician to avoid possible drug interaction.

Use in Pregnancy & Lactation:
The use of this drug is not recommended during pregnancy & lactation, unless otherwise indicated by physician.

Precaution:
Precautions should be exercised for treatment of patients with disorders of the prostate, serious diseases of the kidney or liver, cardiac disorders, thyroid disorders, chronic bronchitis and certain gastrointestinal diseases. The risks of visual disturbances can make it dangerous to drive or use machines.
