Reliv Plus tablet: Each tablet contains Paracetamol BP 500 mg & Caffeine USP 65 mg

Description
Reliv Plus is a preparation of Paracetamol& Caffeine. Paracetamol is a fast acting & safe analgesic with marked antipyretic property. It is especially suitable for patients who for any reason, cannot tolerate aspirin or other analgesics. Caffeine is a alkaloid, which is a theophyllin-like xanthine derivative. Caffeine increases the solubility &transmembrane permeation with paracetamol.

Indications
All kinds of mild to moderate pain (analgesic) & fever (antipyretic), including neuritis, neuralgia, headache, earache, body ache, myalgia, minor arthritic pain, pain due to rheumatic disorder, cold, influenza, dysmenorrhoea etc.

Contra-indications
Paracetamol is contra-indicated in patients who have known hypersensitivity to paracetamol and caffeine.

Dosage & administration
Reliv Plus tablet: Adult: 0.5 to 1 gm (1-2 tablets or 4-8 tsp syrup) 4-6 times daily,

Side Effects :
Reliv plus tablet in recommended dose is free from side effects, skin reaction such as urticaria have been reported rarely.

Drug interaction
Paracetamol should be given with care to patients taking other drug that effect the liver.

Overdose
Immediate medical advice should be sought in the event of an overdose even if the patient feels well because the rest of delayed, serious liner damage.
