Tempanil
DESCRIPTION:
TEMPANIL is the formulation of Paracetamol (Acetaminophen) which is one of the safest and most widely used analgesic and antipyretic.

COMPOSITION:
TEMPANIL Tablet: Each film coated tablet contains Paracetamol BP 500 mg .

INDICATION:
It is indicated for Fever, common cold and influenza, Headache, toothache, earache, bodyache, myalgia, dysmenorrhoea, neuralgia and sprains,Pain of colic, back pain, post-operative pain, postpartum pain, chronic pain of cancer, inflammatorypain, and post-vaccination pain and fever of children.Rheumatism and osteoarthritic pain & stiffness of joints in fingers, hips, knees, wrists, elbows, feet,ankles and top & bottom of the spine.

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION:
TEMPANIL: By mouth-0.5-1g every 4-6 hours to a max. of 4g daily; Child 2 months 60 mg for post-immunisation pyrexia, repeated once after 6 hours if necessary; 3 months-1 year 60-120 mg, 1-6 years 120-250 mg, 6-12 years 250-500 mg; these doses may be repeated every 4-6 hours whan necessary (max. of 4 doses in 24 hours).

SIDE-EFFECT:
Side effects are significantly mild, though haematological reactions have been reported. Pancreatitis, skinrashes, and other allergic reactions occur occasionally.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Known sensitivity to Paracetamol.

USE IN PREGNANCY AND LACTATION:
Although there is epidemiological evidence of the safety of Paracetamol in pregnancy & lactation, medical advice should be sought before using this product.

STORAGE:
Store in a cool, dry place, away from light. Keep out of the reach of children.

TEMPANIL Tablet: Box containing 25 x 10’s tablets in blister pack.
