Ciflocin 500 mg Tablet: Each film coated tablet contains Ciprofloxacin USP 500 mg as hydrochloride.

Description
Ciprofloxacin is a synthetic fluoro-quinolone derivative. It has Anti-bacterial activity against a wide range of gram-positive & gram negative bacteria.

Indications
UTI, RTI, infections of ear, nose, throat, eyes, SSTI, bone, joints & Gonorrhea, severe systemic infections & gram negative pneumonia.

Contra-Indications
Growing adolescents, except where benefits exceed risks, pregnancy & lactation, epilepsy and history of CNS disorder.

Dosage & Administration
Ciflocin Tablet: The dose range for adults is 500 mg to 750 mg twice daily or as advised physician, Children: 10-30 mg/kg/day, or as advised physician.

Side Effects
Nausea, Vomiting, Dyspepsia, Skin rash, Headache, Dizziness, Confusions, Diarrhea.

Drug Interactions
Ciprofloxacin should be given with care to patients taking other drug that effect the liver & Kidney.

Overdose
Moderate overdose 6-8 gm/day, Excessive over dose more than 10 gm /day.
