Rejoin
Presentation:
Rejoin Tablet: Each film coated tablet contains Glucosamine sulfate USP 250 mg and Chondroitin sulfate USP 200 mg.

Indications:
Relief of osteoarthritis. Other recommended uses are for tendonitis and bursitis. It decreases pain and improves mobility in people suffering from osteoarthritis. It has been suggested, by some sources, that it may even prevent or postpone the development of osteoarthritis in certain groups, such as the elderly and the athletes.

Dosage & Administration:
1-2 tablets three times daily.

Contrainidications:
Not known.

Warning & Precautions:
Patients allergic to sulphates should take care during treatment with this drug.

Side effects:
Rare cases of nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea have been reported.

Drug interaction:
There is no interaction of glucosamine with blood pressure medications, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, and for diabetics on hypoglycaemic agents (but close monitoring of blood sugar levels is recommended).
Chondroitin sulphate may interact with blood thinning medications like heparin.

Use in special groups:
Use in pregnancy & lactation: The Arthritis Association recommends taking cautions in the use of glucosamine and chondroitin sulphate during pregnancy & lactation
