Nirvana
Description
During sexual stimulation nitric oxide is released in corpus carvernosum and this nitric oxide activates guanylate cyclase that stimulates the synthesis of cGMP in smooth muscle. Cyclic GMP causes smooth muscle relaxation and increases blood flow, cause penile erection.
Tadalafil inhibites phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5), which is responsible for degradation of cGMP in the corpus cavernosum and causes increased levels of cGMP , resulting in penile erection. Tadalafil at recommended doses has no effect in the absence of sexual stimulation.

Indication
Nirvana is indicated for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED) and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
